In an effort to further and enhance biomedical education, Exempla’s EMS/Pre-Hospital Services Department offers the ONLY human cadaver anatomy program of its kind in Colorado. Utilizing human anatomical specimens provided by the Colorado State Anatomical Board’s Donor Program, this state-of-the-art course offering provides an overview of human systems anatomy & physiology in a hands-on, experiential format. Exempla’s experienced cadaver program staff includes physicians, PhDs, physician assistants and upper level medical students.
ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS:
- Junior/Senior High School science students
- Individuals directly involved in medical employment, training or education
- Enrollees of undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate or professional development medical, dental, or allied health, massage or alternative medicine programs or research projects
- Human anatomical specimens may not be viewed by the general public.
- Minimum/maximum number of students at each location
- Participants must verify that they are not familiar with any friend or relative who has been a donor to the State Anatomical Board in the last 2 years.
COST:
- $40/person; tuition and roster due one week ahead of scheduled lab
SCHEDULING (One-time only 4-hour lab):
- Monday – Friday from 6pm – 10pm
- Saturdays from 9am – 1pm & 1pm-5pm
